Kristen Bell makes sense of how she discusses sex with her little girls, 9 and 7

Kristen Bell has a game plan for how she talks to her daughters Lincoln, 9, and Delta, 7, about sex.

Veronica Mars Star, 41, appeared in the first episode of Rachel Bilson and Olivia Allen's podcast Broad Ideas to chat about parents. The conversation turned to how Bell tries to be open with her two children, which she shares with her husband, Dax Shepard.

Making fun of the fact that whenever she mentions more scientific words like "sperm" or "ovum" her children get bored with the subject, she explains, "It's really important to give them a little more. Daddy and I do this because we have those feelings for each other. There are feelings that we get for each other in our private parts. They are also found in our brains and stomachs. ”

Since Lincoln and Delta have not yet experienced this kind of attraction, Bell explains that she tries to relate to what she perceives.

"[I ask, '' Remember how you weren't interested in swimming, and then you became interested in swimming? And they're like, 'Really?'

He also shared a tip to talk about sex that he heard from actress Michelle Monaghan.

The man's penis and puts it in her vagina," he shared. "And suddenly you completely change the power of the woman listening to this story."

This is not the first time Bell has talked about sex with his children. In a 2018 episode of WTF With Marc Maron, she shared that her daughters sometimes get bored talking about sex.

"They've asked about sex before and Dex said, 'Well, there's a penis, there's a vagina and there's an egg and there's ejaculation,'" Bell explained to Marvin. "And they're like, 'Can I have some testy juice ?!' They're just far from it. They don't care.
